Update On Man Who Was Shot By A Security Operative Yesterday On Oba Akran Ikeja.

Someone who was at the scene sent these to me this is an eye witness account this is the way he put it...

It happened at OBA akran avenue Ikeja precisely at Bank bus stop. A truck broke down on the road causing heavy traffic along oba akran avenue so it was hell getting through.

Danfo in their usual style were trying to find an escape route out of the heavy gird lock but one of them was so unlucky when he passed in front of a Bank. The security operative challenged the conductor for passing the walk way, in the heat of the fight, the security guy wejt in to take his gun and shot the conductor twice in the leg at close range and immediately fled the scene, leaving the guy in a pool of his own blood.

People had to rally round for support before he was taken to the hospital don't know his present condition now it happened around 2:00 pm yesterday.

Area boys who saw the whole thing immediately began to destroy properties of the bank damaging cars, the building and the rest. It took the police to bring the situation back to normal.
