Woman Allegedly Forces 3-Year-Old To Eat Own Poop.

                     

An Arizona woman was charged with child abuse after police say she forced her boyfriend’s 3-year-old daughter to eat her own feces.

Police say Nicole Candelaria, 27, held down the 3-year-old and forced her to consume excrement as punishment for defecating in the bathtub, according to ABC 7. Police arrested Candelaria on Saturday in Tempe, AZ Family reports.
Candelaria reportedly lives with her boyfriend and watches his three children while he’s at work. Her arrest came after the victim and her two sisters — ages 3 and 5 –told their mother about the incident, according to court documents obtained by the Phoenix New Times.
Candelaria told police that the girls made the whole thing up, and that the three-year-old “lies often.” However, doctors found that bruising on the girl’s sides, legs, chest and back were consistent with claims that Candelaria held down the child.

Plan Gone Wrong -- Suicide Bomber Dies In Failed Jos Bombing Yesterday Night

            

An attempt by a suicide bomber to kill football fans in Jos on Saturday night was unsuccessful but he was killed in the blast.The bomber, who approached Jos viewing centre while people were watching the match between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid, could not get there before his car exploded. It was a few minutes into the second half of the match.A source close to the scene told one of our correspondents that, “The suicide bomber wanted to attack a viewing centre where Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid fans were watching the UEFA Champion League final.”

The blast followed the twin blasts, which occurred in the same city on Tuesday. The Tuesday explosion killed no fewer than a hundred people and left many others wounded and hospitalised.

Although information about the Saturday night blast was sketchy, the bomb was said to have been planted in a car, near a car stand where some youths were watching the match.

It was gathered that the bomb exploded near a residence injuring the owner of the house and his son. The bomber and two others died in the blast.
The sound of the blast, according to eyewitnesses, reverberated round the city and was heard around Angwan
Rogo area of Jos North, behind the temporary site of the University of Jos. The sound was, reportedly, so loud it shook most buildings around the area. It was heard as far as Bukuru in Jos South, about 12 km from Jos.

A resident, Sani Mudi, who lives around Bauchi road told our correspondent that all the residents of the area rushed out of their houses, trying to fathom where the bomb exploded.

The spokesperson of the Plateau State Police Command, Mrs. Felicia Anselm, confirmed the blasts. Another police source confirmed the bomb exploded at a television viewing centre, where some youths were watching the match.

“It is really a bad situation, the source said, adding, “but the details will be known by day break.” In a statement on Saturday night, Plateau State Governor, Jonah Jang, urged the people of the state to remain
courageous. He said it was sad that the attack was coming
barely four days after a similar one. He vowed to ensure that
the masterminds are tracked down.

Independent but unconfirmed sources had had put the casualty figure from the Tuesday explosions at above 100 persons. This figure by eyewitness, however, contrasted with that given by the Commissioner of Police, Mr. Chris Olakpe, who said 46 people were killed while 45 other were wounded.

The first bomb on Tuesday, which was said to have been detonated by a suicide bomber in a Fiat car, happened at about 3pm when the market was at its peak.

The second blast went off in a Sienna space bus, parked about 20 metres away from the site of the first explosion.

Eyewitness said the bomber in the Fiat car stopped it abruptly along the busy Muritala Mohammed Highway, very close to the burnt Jos Main market, left it for minutes to obstruct traffic and cause enough build-up of cars behind. He was said to have returned shortly after and detonated the bomb.

BOKO HARAM: Nigerian Army Uncovers Bomb Factory In Kano || Arrest Top B’Haram Member.

According to Today.ng, The Nigkerian Army has uncovered a local weapons factory in Kano state. The DHQ while rebuting reports of a second mutiny in Maimalari Barracks as reported by Sahara Reporters Friday morning, May 23, 2014, via a statement signed by Major General Chris Olukolade, Director of Defence Information, stated that it has uncovered a rocket launcher production facility in Kano. According to the statement, “A cordon and search exercise has led to the discovery of a Rocket Launcher production facility at Dorayi District in Kumbotso Local Government Area of Kano State,” The DHQ also confirmed the apprehension of a top member of the dreaded Boko Haram sect. 

According to the DHQ, “The discovery follows the arrest of a prominent member of the terrorists group. Locally made Anti-Aircraft Gun and Mortar accessories as well as Rocket Propelled Grenade tubes and Launcher along with accessories were recovered. Also seized were three AK47 rifles and hundreds of rounds of assorted ammunitions as well as drilling machines and other fabricating equipment.”

The oldest-living American has celebrated her 115th birthday - and credits her longevity to her faith.
Jeralean Talley, of Michigan, came into the world on May 23, 1899, making her one of the few living people to have been born in the 19th century.
She celebrated on Friday as the second-oldest person in the world, according to the Gerontology Research Group, which keeps a list of the world's longest-living people.
Ms Talley, who still gets around on her own with the help of
a walking frame, plans to celebrate again with family and friends at a local church on Sunday.
The widow, whose husband died in 1988, is cared for by a 76-year-old daughter who lives with her.
"It's all in the good Lord's hands," Talley told the Detroit Free Press of her long life. "There's nothing I can do about it."
Japan resident Misao Okawa, 116, is the world's oldest person, according to the Gerontology Research Group.

The Plateau State governor, Jonah Jang, on Friday criticized the hundreds of people who took part in the.
#BringBackOurGirls protest in Abuja on Thursday, led by Oby Ezekwesili and Dino Melaye.
The protesters had been protesting daily to demand the government do more to rescue the over 250 girls kidnapped from Chibok.
Mr. Jang, according to PremiumTimes, said the protesters, who planned to march to the Presidential Villa but were stopped, do not mean well for Nigeria. The Plateau governor
said.
“How can a group of people just wake up and begin to protest to the Villa; demanding Mr. President to go to the forest and bring back those girls? Why don’t they go to the forest where the girls are,”
Mr. Jang stated this on Friday in his first visit to the blast scene since the Tuesday bomb explosion in Jos that killed over 120 people.

The Chief of Defense Staff, CDS, Alex Bardeh, on Thursday visited the scene of the Jos explosion as well as victims’ still receiving treatment at hospitals. He also provided
safety tips to be followed when such explosions occur. At the Jos University Teaching Hospital, JUTH, Mr. Bardeh, while addressing journalists, called for the enforcement of the ban on street trading in the state to avoid high casualties when such incidents occur.
The Plateau State government had on Wednesday blamed street trading near the Terminus Market for the high casualty; saying most of the victims were street traders.
Mr. Bardeh, an Air Chief Marshall, advised that people should stay calm whenever a bomb explodes and desist from rushing to scene of blast.
“Whenever there is a bomb explosion, people should stay away,” he said. “For those who are on the scene, they should lay low on the ground, because bombs have shrapnel nails in them, and they fly upward.”He added that “when you lay down on the floor for at least 30 minutes, it’s enough sacrifice for you to stay alive.”
